Bring the Magic of Music Education to Any Classroom

Whether you’re a parent or teacher, you’ve undoubtedly heard that Ince funding is tight for a school, the artsier the first to get hit. Perhaps you’ve lived it in your own school. I’ve got some good news among the dark cloud of school budgets: It is now easier than ever to bring the magic of music education to any classroom.

Unfortunately, there are many myths surrounding music education among schools and administrations. Those myths range from music being too expensive to needing dedicated music professionals in order to implement music education.

Either of those myths and the countless other are even close to being true. In today’s post, we’ll try to dispel these myths once and for all. Most importantly, we will do our best to show you how easy it can actually be to bring music education to any school or classroom.

Why Music and Art Usually Get the Axe

There are countless ‘reasons’ schools and administrations give for the axing of music and arts programs. However, the truth behind these actions are anything but straightforward. While it is certainly true that many schools deal with tight budgets, to limit it simply to a financial decision is too simplistic.

The sad truth behind many of these decisions is the belief that music and art are not as developmentaly important as other subjects. Additionally, the claim will be that it is ultimately in the best interest of the students to focus solely on certain subjects.

In reality, all subject are important. From math and science to music and art. Physical fitness is just as important as any other class as it enhances our outlook on keeping ourselves healthy.

But how can we make sure all subjects get taught, regardless of budget constraints? We get creative, we figure out alternatives without removing a particular subject altogether. It is our job as educators to make sure our students and children receive a well-rounded educational experience regardless of budgets.

How Color Me Mozart Can Help

We believe in music education. Our goal is simple: To being the magic of music education into every home and classroom. We make this possible by combining the music learning experience so that everyone learns together. Both teacher and students and parents and children learn together.

This eliminates the need for a dedicated music instructor for the beginning stages of music learning. The added benefit is that both teachers and parents will also learn the magical language of music. We are here to help, reach out anytime!
