I love that this book gives parents practical tips for growing their child’s love for music, as well as helping parents see the long term effects of bringing rhythm, melody, cadences, healthy habits, expanded creative views of the arts and more through the power of a tune.

The Perfect Introduction to Music for Young Learners

April 10, 2026

I absolutely love using Color Me Mozart in our homeschool—it’s honestly been one of the most joyful and well-rounded additions to our routine. Before we started, I wasn’t sure how to teach music in a way that felt natural and not overwhelming, especially since I don’t have a musical background. This program completely changed that for us.

What really stands out is how engaging it is. My kids don’t see it as “school” at all—they get excited about the colors, the activities, and the hands-on elements. It feels more like playtime, but at the same time, they’re actually learning real musical concepts. I’ve been amazed at how quickly they’ve started recognizing patterns and understanding basic music ideas without frustration.

I also love how well-rounded the program is. It’s not just about notes and rhythms—it introduces children to new instruments, different genres of music, and even musicians, which makes the learning experience feel rich and meaningful. It really opens their eyes to the wider world of music instead of keeping things narrow or overly technical.

Another unexpected gift has been that I’m learning right alongside my children. As someone without a musical background, I’ve found myself picking up concepts, discovering new music, and gaining confidence in a subject I once felt unsure about. It’s been such a special shared experience for our family.

Another huge plus is how easy it is for me to use. Everything is straightforward, and I don’t have to spend a ton of time preparing lessons. It’s one of those rare homeschool resources that feels both effective and low-stress.

That said, I do see it more as a starting point than a complete music education. As my kids grow, I’ll definitely plan to add more in-depth music study or instrument practice. But for now, it’s been the perfect way to build a love of music and confidence in learning something new.

Overall, Color Me Mozart has been such a positive experience for our family. It’s fun, approachable, thoughtfully designed, and genuinely effective—and I’m so glad we found it.

GREAT RESOURCE FOR PRESCHOOL MUSIC

March 28, 2026

Whether you are a parent with no musical background or a teacher who wants to incorporate music in the classroom, there is something for everyone in the Color Me Mozart curriculum. It is so well laid out and it meets the children at their level, using color and shapes to read music and playing nursery rhymes they already know. It’s also interactive: recognizing sounds of instruments, clapping our rhythms, moving to music and more. So much fun for your child and you.

I also wanted to highlight the customer service, which is unbelievable. Adrian is an amazing resource and is there to answer any questions you might have. You are not out there on your own.

If you believe in the importance of incorporating music in your child’s education, don’t be intimidated by what you don’t know, jump in. This program will give you everything you need to succeed.

Easy to use for non-musical parents

March 20, 2026

I started Color Me Mozart with my 3-year-old and it’s absolutely wonderful! He loves the weekly lessons (especially the sing-a-longs), and working through his activity book. He was so proud to play his first song on the xylophone, and Adrian provided a useful method of breaking up the music to help him master sections, so it wasnt overwhelming. I don’t have a musical background, but I’m able to confidently help him with assistance from the books. I bought the 2-year bundle and am so excited to see where we are at age five.
