We started with Book 1 about 4–5 weeks ago, and surprisingly my 4-year-old asks me every day to practice. Personally, I don’t know how to play piano, but the book is very easy to follow, and we both have a great time and lots of fun!

I really like the use of colours, shapes, and letters. I think it’s great for young children’s brains as well, recognising patterns and following the music. Great for everyone!

I absolutely love using Color Me Mozart in our homeschool—it’s honestly been one of the most joyful and well-rounded additions to our routine. Before we started, I wasn’t sure how to teach music in a way that felt natural and not overwhelming, especially since I don’t have a musical background. This program completely changed that for us.

Another huge plus is how easy it is for me to use. Everything is straightforward, and I don’t have to spend a ton of time preparing lessons. It’s one of those rare homeschool resources that feels both effective and low-stress.

That said, I do see it more as a starting point than a complete music education. As my kids grow, I’ll definitely plan to add more in-depth music study or instrument practice. But for now, it’s been the perfect way to build a love of music and confidence in learning something new.

Overall, Color Me Mozart has been such a positive experience for our family. It’s fun, approachable, thoughtfully designed, and genuinely effective—and I’m so glad we found it.
