Remote Learning Comes to the Bronx
In this current climate regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, we all find ourselves scrambling to continue education at home. With many schools already closed, the race for remote learning has already begun. Fortunately we live in a time with such access to great technology. Among those in the educational fight, BronxNet has created a wonderful initiative called BronxEdulution. It consists of great education content that will air on local cable and their website BronxNet.tv. Additionally, it will bring remote learning to the Bronx families and communities.
Reaching Families and the Community
What is vital now is to bring much needed resources to communities and families in the Bronx. Many great organizations have come together to offer powerful educational content. Timothy Coleman, director of BronxEdulution, says of the initiative, “Great things are coming for the students and families in the Bronx! Our @BronxEdulution TV station will provide #Equity4All students in our Borough and beyond.”
Coming together in these difficult times is critical for the well-being of our communities and cities, as well as the entire country. Uniting and offering one another help will get us through this time better than before. The strength of the human spirit know no limits when we support one another.
